AGTU WORKING PAPERS is a scientific journal that promotes student-led research by publishing articles, projects, reviews, dissertations, and other manuscripts produced by students in collaboration with their professors and advisors. The journal serves as an essential platform for the production of scientific, sustainable, and technological knowledge, seeking to positively impact both the local and global levels.

Peer Review Process
AGTU WORKING PAPERS employs a rigorous peer review process to ensure publication quality. The workflow consists of:

Initial Screening (Desk Review): The editorial team performs an initial check regarding scope appropriateness, formatting, and ethical standards.

Peer Review: Manuscripts approved in the screening are sent to at least two expert reviewers in the field. The review policy (double-blind, single-blind) is defined by the editorial board.

Editorial Decision: Based on the evaluations, the editorial team makes the final decision regarding publication.
Open Access Policy
This is an open-access journal, meaning that all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, in accordance with the adopted Creative Commons license.

Authors who publish in this journal retain the copyright of their work. They grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Research Ethics and Good Practices
The journal upholds the highest standards of academic integrity. We have a strict policy against plagiarism, data falsification, and other ethical violations. All submitted texts must mandatorily pass through the anti-plagiarism software provided by AGTU. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate complete works is prohibited, and authors remain fully responsible for the content of their manuscripts; they must declare the use of any AI tools during the process.
Submission and Publication Fees
AGTU WORKING PAPERS operates under the Diamond Open Access model. There are no submission, processing, or publication fees (APCs) for authors.
Digital Archiving and Preservation
To ensure long-term access to its content, the journal utilizes digital preservation systems. We consider the use of services such as CLOCKSS, LOCKSS, or the PKP Preservation Network to ensure the archiving and integrity of academic records.
Journal History
Founded in 2025 as an initiative of the American Global Tech University, AGTU WORKING PAPERS was created with the goal of establishing a dedicated space for the scientific production of the student body, strengthening the research culture and undergraduate research at the institution.
